“Sleep Tight.”

This is what parents say to their children so that they will be brave enough to go to bed, and not worry about having a nightmare.

Our group installation examines the nighttime dreams and fears of a 10-year-old boy. Upon entering, visitors will find themselves in the boy’s bedroom with windows into his dreamscapes displayed on the walls. The bed is where he’s sleeping, but the nightmares are encroaching, overpowering his hopes and dreams, and shoving them into ever smaller corners. The child’s darkest fears are both projected on his far wall, and made manifest in the small, creepy figures that are playing with his puzzle, riding his tricycle, and taking over the space of his room.
